This recipe is for 6-8 person and it takes about 1 hour to cook it.
-White rice 1 cup
-Sugar 1/2 cup (you can add up to 1 1/2 cup sugar if you like)
– Saffron 1 teaspoon
-Coconut oil 1 tablespoon
-Water 2 L
-Pinch of salt
-Cinnamon and almond slice for decoration (optional)
Bring water to the boil in a big pot. Then add the rice and salt to the water and let it boil on medium heat for 45 minutes.When the rice looks like this, add sugar and saffron. Stir for 2-3 minutes then turn the heat down.
Now heat up the coconut oil and add it to the pot. Stir for another minute or so.
Put the lid on and turn off the oven and wait for 10 minutes before pouring it in serving bowl. You can add cinnamon and almond slice on the top.
