Last week I wrote about my favorite type of midi skirt and why I love them. Today I’m writing to share with you my favorite outfits around a midi pencil skirt. I choose these looks because they are suitable for a normal daily routine. I can wear them at the office, school or going around running some errands. I’m leaving a normal life so I do my best to dress up for such a life whilst staying true to my sense of style and femininity.
I literally borrowed this cardigan from my husband. I love this combination especially for a professional meeting or an office look.
It’s sophisticated with a touch of sexiness which I love. The animal print boots and the statement bag elevate the whole outfit to a modern look.
This is as casual as it gets. I love this look for its simplicity and practicality as well as being chic.
Keep in mind that if you are a fan of Ugly Dad’s Sneakers, you can easily wear them with this outfit. I prefer something more elegant and classic, as you can see.
-A night out with friends
Here are two example of what I would wear to go out with friends or on a date night. It really depends on where we are going and what is on agenda for the night.
The first one is an obvious choice since you never can go wrong with anything black. This lace blouse is one of my favorite pieces in my closet. It’s classy with a hint of edginess, which is the three-quarter length bell sleeve. I talked about why I like to add a belt to my outfit ( read here).
I’m a big fan of combining red with cream or beige. I picked the leopard print top and bag to add something trendy to the look.
The biker jacket is a necessity due to the cold climate I live in. If you are blessed with a higher temperature you can replace it with a blazer or a thin leather jacket.

Here are three ways to style a vest for Spring 2018. The first look is more……..second Outfit is more a casual look……..
It’s been a while since I updated my blog. I thought a style post would be a good way to come back. Vests are great options for spring when the coats are too much yet the temperature is not high enough to walk around without an extra layer.
Today I’m sharing three outfit ideas with you.
The first look is what I wore for my birthday brunch at Grand Hotel in Lund. Its comfortable without being too casual. For this one I chose a white vest from Zara. The material and the length of this vest makes it more appropriate for a classy place. I paired it with white top from Tommy Hilfiger with a blue strip on the chest. The jeans are from Tommy Hilfiger as well. The small rip on the knee adds a little edginess to the look. I chose open toe sandals from Massimo Dutti which has a wide white strap on the toes, black slim straps around the ankle and animal-print heels.
The scarf is from MassimoDutti as well. I chose this one since it matches the colour of my bag which is my favourite handbag from Burberry. I think the look would be somehow incomplete without the scarf.
The second outfit is more casual. I wore it when I was doing some shopping with my friends.
The camel vest is from MassimoDutti and the material is really thin and airy which makes it suitable for Spring days. I add a striped long sleeve t-shirt with cut-offs on shoulders underneath. I love wearing stripes especially during spring and summer. The jean is the same one from the first look. and the white sneakers are from Tommy Hilfiger as well. The hat is from Zara-men.
The white sneakers and the t-shirt makes this a casual outfit while the handbag add sophistication to it.
The third look is for rainy days.
For this one I wore the same vest from Massimo Dutti over a short dress from Polo Ralph Lauren and added a pair of rain boots from Tommy Hilfiger. since there is lots of rain during the spring I think this is a perfect outfit for this season.
This one is casual and comfortable outfit. The cap and the chain bag are the final touches which pull the whole outfit together.
