How to Multi-Mask (Mistakes to Avoid)

Hi guys
One of the recent popular trends is to multi-mask. Many people like me need different masks for different parts of their face. Today I’m talking about common mistakes to avoid when multi-masking.

  • Applying on unclean skin

Always clean your skin throughly before applying face mask to see the full benefit and avoid any irritation. Polo Ralph Lauren dress

  • Applying all masks at the same time

Pay close attention to instructions for each mask. Different masks require different times so don’t apply them all at once. First, apply the one that needs more time. Apply other masks with enough delay so you can rinse/wipe them altogether. Otherwise it would be hard to clean one mask without disturbing others.Denim & Supply Rl dress

  • Not applying on your neck

That’s one of the most common mistakes that many do. Apply your mask on your neck too. Especially when you’re using moisturizing mask. Since the neck is one of the first areas that shows aging signs it would be wise to give it as much attention as your face.Chanel sunglasses

  • Using only one brand

Although we all have one or two favorite brands I believe in trying different brands when it comes to face mask.  I generally use The BodyShop face masks. For clay face mask I prefer Glam Glow and for removing black heads I only use Jorgobé peel off mask (read the review here). Don’t be afraid to try out different brands, you never know what you might find.Denim & Supply RL dress

  • Not using proper products afterwards

Depending on what kind of mask you’re using your skin needs different types of products afterward. Make sure that you know exactly how your face mask works and what kind of treatment will benefit your skin more after using it.

Addict Lip Tattoo Lip Gloss Review

Dior Lip Tattoo

Hi Guys

Addict Lip Tattoo is my new favorite lipstick/lipgloss. Since I bought it two months ago I’ve been wearing it every single day.

As usual the packaging is meticulous. It has the Dior Addict lipstick signature shape with a shiny silver bell at the top which is the handle of a foam applicator. The applicator feels soft and moves really smoothly on the lips. Unlike the other liquid/fluid lipstick from Dior this one does not come in a glassy see-through container. Although you can’t see the actual color the container is in the same color as the lipstick only in mat. I find this a little bit confusing since this isn’t a mat lipstick by any definition.

Dior cosmetic

Addict Lip Tattoo is described as “Long wear tint with extreme weightless feel” by Dior (check it here). I agree with the second part, I wouldn’t feel it on my lips if it wasn’t for the taste which is good by the way. It’s a little bit sweet yet it’s not too much. But when it comes to “long wear” it’s not exactly what I had expected. This lipgloss comes off whenever I eat or drink something yet it last really long hours as well. Let me explain; The first time I saw the lipstick stain left on the coffee mug I was disappointed. Until two hours later when I stood in front of a mirror to retouch my makeup. Then I realized that my lips looked much brighter and more colorful than ever. It didn’t look like that I was wearing any lipstick and I definitely didn’t feel anything on my lips. Yet here I was staring at my lips in amazement. After a few days I find out that If I want a natural look all I need is to move the applicator once on my lips. The Addict Lip Tattoo leaves a hint of color on my lips that looks so natural. It’s the most natural looking lipstick I’ve ever come across. In that case it won’t come off. On the other hand this is a lipstick that you can build up to create a more dramatic look which will come off layer by layer until your lips are left with a tint of color. This would be fantastic natural look after a whole night drinking and dancing with your partner. It guarantees that you won’t say good night without a kiss, or more than that.

Lip Tattoo Color Tint

The color I’m using currently calls Natural Beige (number 421) I also like the color Natural Rosewood (number 491) which I’ve already ordered and waiting for it to arrive. If there is one product you want to try this summer let it be the Addict Lip Tattoo from Dior.

Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil (Product review)

(Contains adlink)

Hi guys

During last month or so my skin felt dehydrated and dull despite applying moisturizing cream regularly. One of the skin experts at beauty shop suggested that I used an oil treatment. Among all her suggestions I chose Clarins orchid oil since I’ve heard a lot about it.

Clarions Blue Orchid face oil treatment

First thing that I’ve noticed is the smell, it’s absolutely lovely. It reminds me of a fresh spring bouquet. I apply two drops all over my face and neck every night and some mornings. Although the texture is a little bit thick -it isn’t watery at all- it absorbs by skin almost immediately. I noticed that it fairly minimizes pores on the T-zone in addition to giving my skin a tint of glow. This was a surprise for me since there was nothing on the description about it being pore-minimizing.

I love to apply it after washing my face when the skin is damp. The oil keeps the moisture in and makes my skin feel amazing. I’ve been using this for last three weeks and I love the result. My skin feels softer, more radiant and really hydrated.

If you have dehydrated skin or just need something to rejuvenate and nourish your skin this Clarins oil treatment is a perfect option.

Best Hair Treatment (Expert Advice PartII)

Hi Guys

As I explained in my previous blogpost I sat down and had a heart to heart conversation about hair treatments with my hair dresser. Talking to a professional on any subject can be an eye-opening experience. One of the most important lessons that I’ve learnt during this process is to be aware of media and advertising power. Otherwise I will end up expending too much money without seeing any result. Just because a treatment (brand, style, color, diet……) is popular on social media does not mean that I need it. We all know  that but it’s easier said than done.

When you diagnosed your hair problem (check out my last blogpost to see how to do that) it’s time for solution.

-The first step is to avoid any hair product that contains sulfate. There are lots of Sulfate-Free formulas that you can try. ” Stick to Sulfate-Free products no matter what.” She said.

– Olaplex treatment is one of the best available treatments right now. According to my hairdresser using it in coloring process provides the best results. There are many other treatments available that your hair dresser can offer you depending on which brand they work with. Some of the examples are Renew from L’Oreal Professional or Kevin Murphy Repair.Me treatment.

-One product that you must use at home is a repair serum which helps the split ends to repair. She suggested the Total Repair 5 Multi-Restorative from L’Oreal Paris. ( please have in mind that I personally haven’t tried this one).

-Another treatment which is good for damaged hair is hair conditioner. According to my expert it is better to avoid leave-in conditioner. You can use them once in a while but don’t depend on them to nurture your damaged hair.

For a start, avoid washing your hair every day it will dry your hair even more. Trade your shampoo with a cleansing balm and wash your hair twice a week. Only doing this, dramatically changed my hair. I’m using No-Foam Cleanser from Redken and I’m loving it.

One thing that you Must-Do is using a hair mask once a week. Look for those that hydrate your hair. Dry hair needs to be moisturized and hydrated, not to be repaired. So pay attention to description on the package. Oribe moisture masque is my favorite. It’s a little expensive yet I think it is worth every penny.

Last but not least, be careful what kind of oil you use on your hair. Make sure that the oil you’r using can moisturize your hair otherwise it cause a build-up of oil in your hair which makes you wash your hair more often. Ouai oil is the one that I use.

As for saloon treatment ask your hair dresser for a Intensive-Hydra mask. Although weekly hair mask at home will help, you need a professional treatment once in a while.

Also it is a good idea – specially if you want to grow your hair- to have your hair trimmed every 3-4 month to keep it healthy.

The last advice is from me; your hair dresser is your hair best friend, find  a trust-worthy one and stick with them.

Note: I did not suggest any product for damaged hair since I can’t suggest something that I haven’t tried.
