on days that I can’t bother to have full makeup on…want to look nice and representable without spending lots of time on makeup during holidays, this is the product for you…..
With holidays just around the corner, I’m sharing my the go-to tinted moisturizer.t I wear this BareMinerals tinted moisturizer on days that I can’t bother to have full makeup on. If you are like me and want to look nice and representable without spending lots of time on makeup during holidays, this is the product for you.
BareMinerals Complexion Rescue
The products come in a tube and it’s a gel cream. The BareMineral Complexion Rescue is actually, truly moisturizing. I usually don’t apply moisturizer when I use this one. It’s a perfect option for cold weather since it actually keeps your skin moist and fresh looking. The best part is that it comes in 16 shades so anyone can find one that matches their skin.
In addition to all that, the clean formula and the mineral-based ingredients are really beneficial to my skin. The BareMineral Complexion Rescue even contains non-chemical sunscreen. Therefore I don’t need to add another layer of cream to my skin. Also, it’s free of Parabens, Fragrance, and SLS ( the ingredient found in detergent, soaps and cleaning products in general).
Although the consistency of the cream allows you to use a sponge or a brush I like to apply it with my fingers. This way I get more use of the cream. The result is a dewy look yet it’s far from being oily. The BareMinerals Complexion Rescue stays on intact for about 6-7 hours without using any setting powder on top. That’s why it’s a perfect choice for a no-makeup makeup look.
Not so good
The only thing I have against the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue is that I can’t wear a foundation on top of it. None of my foundations sit well on my skin when I have the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue on. Maybe I’m not using the right foundation and you can find the one that perfectly works with it. If you do, please let me know.
Muti masking tips and common mistakes to avoid when using face masks. How to get the most benefit from face masks and what kind of products to use…….
One of the recent popular trends is to multi-mask. Many people like me need different masks for different parts of their face. Today I’m talking about common mistakes to avoid when multi-masking.
Applying on unclean skin
Always clean your skin throughly before applying face mask to see the full benefit and avoid any irritation.
Applying all masks at the same time
Pay close attention to instructions for each mask. Different masks require different times so don’t apply them all at once. First, apply the one that needs more time. Apply other masks with enough delay so you can rinse/wipe them altogether. Otherwise it would be hard to clean one mask without disturbing others.
Not applying on your neck
That’s one of the most common mistakes that many do. Apply your mask on your neck too. Especially when you’re using moisturizing mask. Since the neck is one of the first areas that shows aging signs it would be wise to give it as much attention as your face.
Using only one brand
Although we all have one or two favorite brands I believe in trying different brands when it comes to face mask. I generally use The BodyShop face masks. For clay face mask I prefer Glam Glow and for removing black heads I only use Jorgobé peel off mask (read the review here). Don’t be afraid to try out different brands, you never know what you might find.
Not using proper products afterwards
Depending on what kind of mask you’re using your skin needs different types of products afterward. Make sure that you know exactly how your face mask works and what kind of treatment will benefit your skin more after using it.
