Here are my two favorite detox drinks. They benefit your skin, digestive system and health in general.
1- Lemon & pink salt
I drink this every morning before eating breakfast . It helps with indigestion and keeps electrolytes in balance.
Put 2 or 3 slices of lemon in a long glass then add a pinch of pink salt. Now pour 1 dl boiling water in the glass and stir. Wait until the water gets cooler, then you can drink it.
2- Golden milk tea
I drink this one as an snack during the day or at night before going to bed. This one takes more time to prepare but it’s really worth the time.
Pour one big glass of almond milk in a saucepan. Then add all these ingredients.
1 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder, 1 teaspoon maple sirup (optional) and sprinkle of black pepper (optional)
Put the pan on medium heat and stir for about 5 minutes .Then pour it in a glass and enjoy it.
Instead of almond milk you can use coconut milk, soy milk, water or milk (if you consume animal products). Drink the golden milk tea during the evening for better sleep. This drink helps with acne, anxiety and depression.
